These are the sweetest little wisdom-filled books for boys and girls! Each page begins with “God’s little boy is…” or “God’s little girl is…” and gently explains a truth from Proverbs in simple, age-appropriate language. (There’s even a helpful dictionary in the back for any words that might be new to little ones.) The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and your children will love spotting all the sweet little details These books are such a joy to read aloud together and make a truly meaningful gift for any family. I’m always impressed by the beautiful inspirational books Harvest House creates!

Book Title: The Colonel's Lady

Publisher: Revell (2011)

Book Review:
Laura Frantz books never disappoint, and The Colonel’s Lady was no exception! ✨
In 1779, genteel Virginia spinster Roxanna Rowan journeys to remote Fort Endeavor expecting to reunite with her father; only to face devastating loss. Penniless and alone on the wild Kentucky frontier, she becomes scrivener to the enigmatic Colonel Cassius McLinn. Roxanna’s complicated emotions felt so relatable - life is messy, and the path of wanting to do the right thing isn’t always clear. Her slow-burn love story with Cassius is layered with tension, hidden truths, and sweet tasteful yearning. The lovely, immersive descriptions and meticulous historical details pulled me straight into the dangerous Revolutionary War frontier.
This is a heartfelt tale of resilience, faith, forgiveness, and restoration.
5/5 ⭐️ I highly enjoyed and wholeheartedly recommend this book!

Happy release day to Helen Price and her debut nov Happy release day to Helen Price and her debut novel, Threads of Freedom & Home! 🪡🧵✨

The threads of three young lives intertwine when they arrive in a town governed by a mayor suspected in the growing number of mysterious disappearances targeting people of color and faith. Told through the alternating perspectives of Anna, Felix, and Ohanzee, this story weaves faith, courage, and quiet resistance into a compelling read.
I loved the bravery and moral conviction of these three characters - especially their willingness to stand for what’s right, no matter the cost!!
